Therapy Dogs are dogs that are inherently sweet and intelligent. They like people and can be used in a variety of ways to benefit patients and elderly. Therapy Dogs may visit hospitals, elderly care facilities, and children's hospitals. Check out the following links for more information.

Faithful Paws is an organization based in Bellaire, they have an AKC Evaluator who can perform the CGC (Canine Good Citizen) test with your dog for you. Your dog does not have to be registered AKC. https://faithfulpawshouston.org/ .
